Information Technology Services (ITS) will be performing maintenance on the Single Sign-On (SSO) server tomorrow morning (Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022) from 5:00 am until 6:30 am. During this emergency maintenance, there will be no access to any SSO services such as Canvas and Banner.
This emergency maintenance is necessary because a significant security vulnerability has been disclosed that affects the version of the software currently running on the JCU SSO server. The vendor is recommending this software be upgraded immediately.
ITS understands the importance of maintaining the stability of JCU's IT services, especially during these last few days of the semester. Due to the severity of this issue and the cybersecurity risks of delaying this upgrade, it is necessary for this to be resolved as quickly as possible.
