Scheduled Maintenance: Canvas Apr 4, 2024 00:00-04:00 EDT
Instructure will be performing a brief maintenance event on our Canvas instance on April 4th, from 12:05 AM to 4:05 AM. We only expect an interruption lasting up to five minutes during this period, but we may utilize the full duration of the window if necessary. Users may not be able to access Canvas while the event is underway.

Scheduled - As previously announced, this week's network maintenance will begin with all outdoor wireless services being shut down at 3 pm today. Reconstruction work will proceed across campus and continue throughout the evening. As with any change of this magnitude, there is the possibility that some local services may experience unintended disruption during this transition. In such instances, affected services will be restored as soon as possible.

Should you encounter any difficulty connecting to the network, whether inside or outside buildings, please attempt to resolve the issue by turning off your wireless and then turning it back on. If connectivity issues persist, please contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance.

The next phase of maintenance will focus on the residence halls, commencing Tuesday afternoon. Residents of each hall will receive advance notification of any scheduled maintenance.

Completed - The SSO Server Upgrade and move to the new Duo Universal Prompt has been completed.

Scheduled - Information Technology Services will be performing maintenance on the JCU Single Sign On server this Friday, March 15, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. During this time, you will not be able to authenticate into SSO-enabled services. Any services to which you have already logged in should be not affected.

As part of this work, we will be making the migration to Duo's new MFA prompt, known as the Universal Prompt. This next-generation authentication experience provides a simplified and accessible Duo login experience for web-based applications, offering a redesigned visual interface with security, mobile, and usability enhancements.
